Personal Computer Operation is a short course that introduces the essentials of Microsoft applications, data word processing and desktop publishing for school and office management. This course equips students with the necessary skills, perspectives, and tools to develop, design, and implement instructional systems in schools and corporate settings. It also prepares students to develop information systems to support the management of learning resources.

 

The Students will learn:

 

  • Microsoft Word

  • Microsoft Access

  • Microsoft Excel

  • Printing, Scanning and Cpanel

  • Microsoft Powerpoint

  • Internet Surfing, PDF and Emails

  • Microsoft Publisher

  • Basic Troubleshooting

  2. WEB DEVELOPMENT

 

Web Development can be defined as the construction of knowledge and skills from experiences delivered through Internet technologies with the use of latest Web Applications such as HTML, CSS, PHP, FTP, Domains and the World Wide Web. This course exposes students to various responsible web publishing activities - from word press, web page design, blogs, social networking sites and comprehensive Web Surfing.

 

The Students will learn:

  • Fundamentals of HTML & CSS

  • Web Design

  • FTP, Domain and Cpanel Management

  • Image Editing (Photoshop)

  • CMS Management (Wordpress)

3. GRAPHICS DESIGNING

 

Graphics designing covers image editing, drawing, layout and illustration with the use of the industry standard software application the Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. The Adobe Photoshop provides series of actual exercises such as publication layout for tarpaulin, image and magazine Printing. The Adobe Illustrator is designed forLogo manipulation/enhancement and graphics designing.

 

The Students will learn:

  • Adobe Photoshop

  • Adobe Illustrator

4. VIDEO PRODUCTION

 

This is a production-intensive short course that introduces students to the process of film making for corporate and academic environments to train them in the translation of abstract concepts into concrete cinematography. It covers the fundamentals of timeline scripting, camera management, studio management, audio synchronization, tools familiarization and Video edition (Post production).

 

  • Fundamentals of Film making and DSLR

  • Understanding Lights and Cinematography

  • Studio and film making equip management

  • Sounds record, synchronization and setup

  • Video Editing, Post production and rendering

5. PHOTOGRAPHY

 

This is a production-intensive short course that introduces students to photography as a visual medium/language and as an art form to the process involved in photography and its industry applications. The course is also designed to familiarize the student with the techniques and skills in basic black and white, landscape, portrait and digital photography.

 

  • Fundamentals of Photography

  • Understanding Lights

  • Image Editing Raw and Presets

  • Post Production and Rendering

6. Computer Programming

 

This course will allow students to understand the basic fundamentals of Computer programming that will able to encode basic codes for software development in Windows Applications.

 

  • Qbasic

  • Visual basic 6

  • Basic Java

7. Computer Hardware Servicing / Computer System Servicing

 

The Computer System Servicing is a short training course under the standard curriculum of TESDA that allows students to diagnose and troubleshoot problems in personal computer systems, software, replace parts and get the system back to normal operation.
